Qi Gong 101 with Robert Brennan
Qi Gong ("working the life force energy") brings together many complex spiritual practices into a simple, accessible toolset. In this 2-hour introductory workshop, participants will explore fundamental Qi Gong movements and breathing techniques while learning about the philosophy that underlies this ancient practice. We'll discuss how Qi Gong complements other spiritual traditions and examine some of its more advanced concepts. The workshop balances theory with hands-on practice, ensuring everyone leaves with practical tools they can incorporate into daily life. Whether you're new to energy work or experienced in other modalities, this workshop offers valuable insights into working with qi.
Rob has been practicing Qi Gong for 10 years, after finding it while exploring yoga and Buddhist practices. He discovered it to be a useful tool for wellbeing and inner balance. Originally from Ireland and now based in Maine, he deepened his practice through study with various spiritual teachers, while his background in Reiki and plant medicine traditions has enriched his understanding of energy work. As an ongoing student on this path, Rob creates an atmosphere where fellow practitioners can explore and discover their own path with Qi Gong. His teaching style is relaxed and accessible, focusing on personal exploration and the joy of moving energy together.
